A Seremban contractor, run by the man who is on your site
Pretech Construction was registered in 2011 by Mr. Ashok to take on road, drainage and civil works in Negeri Sembilan. Fourteen years later the trades have widened, but the way of working has not.
Started on roads. Ended up building houses.
Pretech began with road works — resurfacing, new AC-DC carriageway and JKR-standard maintenance under main contractors around Seremban, Nilai and Port Dickson. Drainage came next, because on a road contract the drain is always part of the job, and because councils kept asking.
From there the work widened the way it does for a civil contractor who finishes what he starts: sewerage reticulation for housing schemes, retaining walls and slope repair, sheet piling along river banks, bridge maintenance for JPS — and then whole buildings. Terrace houses at Linggi. Staff quarters at Felda Sungai Lui. A Tamil school at Sungai Pelek. Today, a two-storey bungalow at Impian Golf in Kajang.
What has not changed is the size. Pretech is deliberately a small firm. Mr. Ashok prices the jobs, runs the sites and answers the phone — which is slower to scale, but it is the reason main contractors keep calling back and why a house owner gets a straight answer rather than a salesman's one.
